I am doing okay with my coil pot. It is hard to make the coils uniformly even and the spirals tend to fall over a little bit. My pot is matching up pretty well with the silhouette. It is a little skinnier at the bottom because there wasn't a circle stencil the exact size as my drawing. I also decided to spread my coils out a little bit more than I had originally intended.
It is looking good so far. Don't let the clay get too dried out so that you can go back and clean up the lines of the piece to give it a cleaner look. Call me over to explain what I'm talking about.
