Bisque Ware

With Bisque Ware it is important to wash your hands so that the oils on your skin don't get on the piece and cause the glaze to not stick to the pot. It is also important to wipe the dust off so the glaze can be absorbed. When glazing you should apply wax resist when you are dipping the piece in bucket glaze. You should dip the pot for almost two seconds. You cannot brush on bucket glaze because not all of the minerals would be spread evenly on your piece and the color would be messed up.

Coil Pot

I am doing okay with my coil pot. It is hard to make the coils uniformly even and the spirals tend to fall over a little bit. My pot is matching up pretty well with the silhouette. It is a little skinnier at the bottom because there wasn't a circle stencil the exact size as my drawing. I also decided to spread my coils out a little bit more than I had originally intended.
