Mrs.Wagoner
I admire my friends mom Mrs.Wagoner. She does so many things and doesn't go crazy. She has four children who all do after school activities. She drives them everywhere, hosts her sons DI team, goes to her kids games, works, and takes care of her house. I admire the fact that Mrs.Wagoner can organize her life to be able to do so many awesome things.
Pinch Pot:Pot Take Two
My pinch pot ended up a little differently then I imagined. I was just going to put straight lines for my designs but i messed up on one of my stars and it made the line thicker. I liked that better so I made all of my stars a little wider. I also used a trimming tool to make my wavy lines wider. If I could change anything now I would smooth the inside better. My clay had dried a little and I didn't make my coil wide enough so it was hard to smooth the inside of my pot. Even though it isn't visible I would like the inside to still look pretty.
Pinch Pot: Pot
Slipping and scoring is scratching the surface of clay that you are going to and then putting a mix of clay and water called slip on the clay. This is important so that the clay fits exactly and stays together. If you did not slip and score, the clay would stay together while it was wet but it would fall apart when it dried.
I had to work hard to make my pot symmetrical. I had to hit it repeatedly with paddle in areas that were not flat or to high.
